Inspired by his father David Scholar founded Metropolitan Woodworking in 1978 after graduating from the University of Maryland. A lifelong Washingtonian, Dave continues to lead his highly skilled team in the creation of impeccable and classic work. Dave has built his business on a belief in strong collaborative relationships, both with clients and employees. His lead craftsman Oscar has been working with Dave for over a decade, building a reliable and trustworthy team.
